Our client is searching for a dynamic and energetic Executive Chef, to lead the culinary team on their exclusive island located in the Bahamas.





  • A broad range of culinary skills and knowledge including but not limited to Pan Asian, Caribbean infusion, Classic French & Italian, Mexican, seafood and of course be up to date on all food allergies as well as health food trends.
  • Have a unique flare for creating new, imaginative menus and events for our discerning guests.
  • Have excellent written and verbal communication skills as this role requires you to liaise directly, in writing and verbally with clients, for creating bespoke menus and events.
  • Must be highly proficient using an array of software and applications including Excel, Word, email, Google and internal scheduling software.
  • Will have either preopening skills or has been involved in kitchen renovations.
  • Will have boutique high-end property experience and/or remote island experience.
  • Will be capable of maintaining Bahamian Health & Safety standards, and the necessary skills to maintain and resolve all kitchen maintenance issues, including pest control measures.
  • Has proven track record in training and developing the culinary and service teams.
  • Be physically able and fit to work long hours when required.
  • Be able to develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, both in the Bahamas and the US to source the very best produce and products for the island. Related responsibilities extend to performing written orders, receiving/checking, stock control, inventory management etc
