Our client, a leading luxury resort group in the Maldives, is seeking an accomplished Grooup Director of Finance to lead and elevate the groups’ resort’s financial operations. In this pivotal role, you will direct and organise the full Finance Department — shaping progressive, proactive policies and ensuring robust internal controls that safeguard the groups resort’s long‑term financial health.
You’ll oversee accurate, timely financial reporting, strengthen accounting systems, and provide strategic guidance to senior management to maximise profitability and enhance shareholder value. Beyond financial leadership, you’ll play a key role in fostering constructive, harmonious management–labour relations, building a positive work environment that supports productivity and high performance.

REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- A Master of Business Administration (MBA) is an advantage.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in hotel finance operations, including at least 5 years in a management position.
- Strong knowledge of hotel finance and accounting operations.
- Thorough knowledge of the Maldives taxation system, particularly GST, WHT, Green Tax, and Business Profit Tax.
- Strong numerical and analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial trends and draw meaningful conclusions.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Hands-on experience with OPERA PMS, SUN Accounting, and Material Control systems.
- Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong leadership, interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
