PHOTO MANAGER

CAPE TOWN (REMOTE)

Seeking a visionary Photo Manager who will report directly to the CMO. Ideally educated to degree level and above, curious, sophisticated and refined, well-travelled with an in-depth knowledge of the media and ultra-luxe travel landscape.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Proven experience in photo management, content production, or a similar role—preferably in travel, lifestyle, or media.
• Proficiency with photo editing software (e.g., Adobe Lightroom, Photoshop)
• Experience with Digital Asset Management (DAM) systems.
• Strong eye for visual storytelling, composition, and brand consistency.
• Familiarity with commercial photography licensing and legal usage standards.
• Excellent organizational and project management skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills across creative and business teams.
• Bonus: Experience working with travel photographers or managing international photo shoots.
• Agility – being able to pivot quickly to deliver excellent work in tight turnaround times.
• Time management – being focused, effective and fast with content creation.
• A cool head – keeping calm under pressure.
• Emotional intelligence – understanding how to communicate visually with our UHNW clients.
• Experience – at least 5 years’ experience in a design role (bonus points for luxury travel or
• luxury goods market).

Preferred Qualifications:

• Degree or certification in Photography, Visual Arts, Media, or related field.
• Understanding of SEO and how visual content supports digital marketing.
• Experience working with global teams and coordinating across time zones.
• Knowledge of video workflows or motion content is a plus.
