ASS DIRECTOR OF SALES

 

 

PHNOM PENH, CAMBODIA

Are you a skilled, motivated, and multi-lingual professional with a passion for luxury hospitality? Our client is looking for an exceptional Assistant Director of Sales to join their head office for their prestigious luxury resort.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

  • Proactively prospecting new accounts and partnerships for the resort, following the sales process through to conversion into ‘producing’ accounts.
  • Coordinating the activities of the sales with the Island team.
  • Manage key accounts/key prospects to ensure maximum yield in line with budgetary objectives.
  • Attend international trade fairs, ensuring the brand is promoted and appropriate networking is initiated.
  • To arrange and manage familiarization trips as and when necessary.
  • Develop and design attractive offers and packages for guests and travel agents.
  • Monitor and analyse sales results.
  • Ensure accurate and effect communication with the reservation and marketing teams.
  • Drive total hotel revenue and take ownership for the achievement of budgeted revenue streams.
  • Understand the competitive luxury property landscape and feeder market dynamics and changing customer needs.
  • Ensure sales related activities support customer satisfaction, retention and new business development goals.
  • Developing and managing PR and digital marketing strategies for the resort
  • Design and implementation of the quarterly and annual sales plans.
  • Lead the global contracting process with all travel partners.
  • Develop departmental SOPs and conduct various sales related training with the team.

 

 

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Sales and 2 years in a similar role selling resorts in Asia Pacific.
  • Deep knowledge of UK and European travel trade and the regional travel markets.
  • Proven leadership and team working skills.
  • Excellent grooming standards.
  • Excellent presentation skills and the ability to persuade and influence.
  • Excellent administrative and organizational skills.
  • Extensive knowledge of revenue management.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook). 
  • Excellent working knowledge of Opera imperative.
  • High degree of proficiency in written and spoken English.
