This is a rare opportunity to lead one of Southeast Asia’s most iconic private island resorts. As General Manager, you’ll be the driving force behind daily operations, guest experience, and commercial success—while championing a brand rooted in purpose, sustainability, and soulful luxury.
As the senior leader on property, you’ll set the tone for excellence across every touchpoint: inspiring your team, elevating service standards, and embodying the resort’s commitment to cultural authenticity and regenerative hospitality. You’ll provide strategic direction, ensure operational rigor, and foster a high-performance culture that balances profitability with people and planet.
A key mandate of this role is to position the resort as a flagship for future brand growth—enhancing its reputation, consistency, and financial performance to attract discerning guests and long-term investment.
You’ll work in close partnership with the CEO, COO, and cross-functional leaders in Finance, Sales & Marketing, and HR. With full accountability for departmental performance, you’ll ensure that guest satisfaction, team wellbeing, and commercial outcomes are delivered in harmony.
REQUIREMENTS:
- A relevant qualification
- Two to three years minimum experience at General Manager level
- Five years of experience in high-end hospitality & wellness properties with proven results.
- An eye for detail and strong communication skills.
- Remote island resort experience
- SE Asian experience
- A self-driven, highly efficient, product and results-oriented personality focused on attention to detail and the continued elevation of Guest experiences.
- A polished, diplomatic and highly guest-centric and engaging approach; experience connecting with a sophisticated international clientele and ease around High Net Worth Individuals from various backgrounds; well-developed negotiating skills.
- Relevant experience leading multicultural teams in remote locations
- Experience managing complex operations, ability to effectively manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously.
- Strong planning, organizational and communications skills and the ability to work independently within agreed parameters.
