Our client is seeking an exceptional Commercial Director to drive the full commercial performance of their luxury resort—a bold, design‑forward resort redefining the Maldives experience. This is a strategic, high‑visibility leadership role for a commercially astute, market‑savvy professional ready to shape revenue growth, profitability, and market expansion across global luxury leisure segments.
Working closely with the General Manager, Revenue Management, Reservations, Marketing, Operations, and central commercial and marketing teams, this role ensures commercial activity is aligned with
business objectives, brand positioning, pricing discipline, and long-term value creation through pre-opening, launch, and ongoing operations.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Relevant degree
- Proven senior commercial leadership experience within luxury resorts or international hospitality brands in the Maldives or similar destinations.
- Strong track record in revenue growth, market development, and multi‑channel commercial strategy.
- Strong background in sales, marketing, revenue management, and distribution
- Expertise in sales, partnerships, performance marketing, and demand generation.
- Deep understanding of global luxury leisure markets; Maldives or island‑resort experience is an advantage.
- Exceptional stakeholder management, communication, and leadership skills.
- Strategic thinker with strong analytical capability and commercial acumen.
