Our client, a leading luxury safari company, is seeking an experienced HR Manager to drive both the strategic and day‑to‑day people agenda across their Botswana operations.
This role is pivotal: you’ll ensure that all people practices are aligned with Botswana labour legislation, global best‑practice HR principles, and the unique realities of operating in remote, high‑performance safari environments. You’ll act as a trusted partner to leadership, providing practical, solutions‑focused support while championing a positive, engaged, and values‑driven culture across camps and support offices.

REQUIREMENTS:
Essential Experience
Senior-level HR experience (minimum 8–10 years), ideally within:
- Hospitality, tourism, or remote operations
- Multi-site or decentralised environments
Proven experience managing:
- Multiple locations/camps
- Large, diverse workforces
- Complex industrial relations matters
Current, in-depth knowledge of Botswana labour legislation and employment practices.
Technical & Professional Skills
- Strong IR and ER capability (disciplinary processes, hearings, negotiations).
- Excellent people management and leadership development skills.
- Solid HR analytics and data management capability.
- Ability to operate both strategically and hands-on.
- High emotional intelligence and cultural sensitivity.
