Our client, travel design specialists, are searching for an expert to interact with their clients at all levels to nurture and develop relationships. The ideal candidate would be capable of working independently as this opportunity is remote working.

A Reservations Consultant role is multi-disciplined and best suited to a well-organized, high-functioning individual. This role covers everything from the original planning stages of each client’s travel, the preparation of the traveler for their journey and delivery of each aspect of the itinerary as well as the any post-travel services. It covers not only relationships with clients but also relationships with service providers with the ability to do manage the itinerary, amend or work within the budget and ultimately oversee each aspect of the traveler’s journey.

SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS

• Highest standard of customer service
• Effective communication, organizational & attention to details skills.
• Must demonstrate the ability to think outside the box
• Show strong time management
• Strong administration/operations background
• Travel industry experience
• Well-travelled with excellent product knowledge of a large range of properties and service providers
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• Organized and methodical
• Good knowledge of MS Word and MS Excel
• Computer literacy and the ability to master CMS programs after training
• Able to work as part of a small team
• Able to work independently from a home environment
• Ability to organize and prioritize work
• Work within strict timelines and meet deadlines
• Willingness to support other team members
• Happy to get involved in a wide range of tasks and learn new skills
