Are you a seasoned professional in luxury hospitality? Our client is opening a new 4* hotel in Rwanda and is looking for a dynamic General Manager to lead the way.

 

 

REQUIREMENTS:

 

  • Experience as a GM in a luxury background
  • Pre-opening experience.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to foster teamwork.
  • A commitment to maintaining high standards and guest satisfaction. Customer-centric.
  • Strong communication skills with a focus on training.
  • Able to keep up with current trends and adapt service offerings.
  • Agile, authentic, collaborative, innovative and accessible.
  • Can communicate effectively in English, orally and in writing and to build solid and open relationships with teams, other HODs, and other partners.
  • Strong leadership, communication, negotiation, and conflict-resolution skills.
  • Exceptional organizational and project management abilities, with a keen attention to detail and the ability to multitask effectively.
  • In-depth knowledge of hotel operations, industry trends, best practices, and regulatory requirements.
  • Proficiency in relevant software applications and systems, including property management systems (PMS), revenue management systems (RMS), and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Has a strong will to work very flexible working hours and can work under pressure.
  • Ability to delegate and provide constructive feedback.
  • Integrity and ability to promote fair and inclusive management practices
