Our client operates at the intersection of luxury hospitality, conservation, and community impact. Their Botswana business is core to the group and operates in a unique market where commercial performance, environmental stewardship, and people leadership must be equally strong. The Managing Director will be responsible for leading the business to its next phase of growth and excellence while remaining deeply aligned with our values and impact pillars.

REQUIREMENTS:

 

Experience & Capability Requirements

 

  • Proven Managing Director or equivalent senior executive experience, with direct P&L ownership
  • Strong commercial and financial acumen, with the ability to drive sustainable growth and profitability
  • Experience leading complex, multi-site operations, ideally within hospitality, tourism, or a related service-led sector
  • A demonstrated track record of strategic leadership, translating vision into disciplined execution
  • Experience operating in emerging or frontier markets, with an understanding of regional dynamics and constraints
