GROUP DIRECTOR OF OPERATIONS

Our client is searching for a Group Director of Operations to be a  strategic business leader for their luxury resorts in the Maldives to oversee the day-to-day performance of the resorts, ensuring the resorts are managed and performing efficiently and effectively. The position is responsible for overseeing the operations of the assigned resorts and coordinating with resorts GM to address operational challenges and formulate various strategies to optimize operations to achieve operational excellence. Develops and implements property-wide strategies that deliver products and services to meet or exceed the needs and expectations of the brand’s target customer and employees and provides a return on investment.

The Group Director Operations should have the knowledge to guide the resort General Managers and its leadership teams to make rational decisions and the ability to direct property level teams to achieve high operational standards and efficiency levels. You will have the ability to understand a P & L and possess a high level of analytical skills. You will be a person with a flexible thought process who is open to ideas and has the ability to work with any level of staff or management personnel. You will have an eye for detail, believe in high standards, be cost conscious and have the ability to multitask.

REQUIREMENTS:

• University degree / Diploma in Hospitality Management
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role overseeing multiple properties
• Strong commercial and financial acumen
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
• Extensive knowledge of forecasting, budgeting.
• Experience in leading and managing a team
