EVENTS MANAGER

MALDIVES (LIVE IN, SINGLE ACCOMMODATION)

START DATE: 1 MARCH 2026

We are looking for a successful and enthusiastic Event Planner to assist with events from conception through to completion at our client’s ultra-luxury private island resort in the Maldives. Responsibilities include providing outstanding customer service and organizing memorable events that meet quality expectations.

This role would be island-based and involve all types of events, from guest birthdays, celebrations and weddings to large-scale events with international artists. Reporting to the Director of PR, Marketing & Events.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Minimum of 3 years’ leading events service at some of the worlds’ best 5* luxury hotels/resorts
• Proven experience as an Events Planner or Organizer
• Relevant degree in Hospitality or Event Planning preferred
• Excellent communication skills (English) and impeccable inter-personal skills.
• Strong leadership and project management skills
• Excellent organizational and multitasking skills & confident to anticipate and manage processes with great attention to detail.
• Good understanding of logistics
• Flexibility towards the scope and a positive mindset.
• Possesses outstanding guest service skills, striving to exceed guests’ expectations
• Impressive portfolio of previously managed events (weddings, meetings, parties, corporate events)
• Design software experience an advantage
• Driver’s licence advantageous
