CORPORATE COMMUNICATIONS WRITER

Our client, a leading luxury safari travel company, is seeking a Corporate Communications Writer with a sharp, steady hand in crisis and risk communications. In this pivotal role, you’ll craft clear, intelligent, and nuanced messaging across the group and its owned brands—often in fast‑moving, high‑stakes situations where accuracy and tone matter most.

You’ll bring proven experience writing for crisis and risk contexts, with a deep understanding of research, fact‑checking, and the careful judgment required to communicate responsibly. We’re looking for a versatile writer who can adapt their voice to different audiences, distil complex information without losing nuance, and articulate the purpose‑driven work at the heart of the organisation.

REQUIREMENTS:

Qualification:

• Degree in Corporate Communication/ Communication Science/ Public Relations (PR)/ Journalism/ Media Studies/ Marketing or Marketing Communications/ English, Linguistics, or Creative Writing/ Business Communication.

Experience:       

• 5 years of experience in writing copy across a range of channels.
• Experience in crisis communications is an added advantage.
• Be comfortable creating content for multiple marketing channels, differing audiences, and different focus areas.
• Adapt tone and structure for different channels and audiences
• Write effectively for people at all levels of the organisation
• Work from a brief while bringing your own ideas and creative input
• Research independently and engage with the right people across the business to gather accurate, informed messaging

• Performs well under pressure and can respond quickly to crises
• Stays informed on current news and industry developments to support crisis response when needed
• Works efficiently and meets deadlines consistently
• Writes clearly, persuasively, and with purpose
