Our client is searching for a Director of Engineering for their luxury Maldives resort. You will oversee all aspects of the resort’s engineering operations. This includes engineering & building maintenance, energy and construction projects. Reporting directly to the General Manager, your role is pivotal in ensuring a seamless and delightful experience for guests.

REQUIREMENTS:

• 5 years as Director of Engineering
• Previous hotel/resort large-scale property experience
• University degree in the Engineering field
• Another professional qualification is an added advantage
• Fluent in English, strong communication skills

• Project management skills
• Excellent negotiation and presentation skills
• Knowledge of installations of mechanical equipment
• Experience with Asset Preventive maintenance
• Operating budgets
• Word/ Excel/ Outlook

• Preferably remote locations experienced
• Fire & Safety, Optimization of Energy, emergency scenarios understanding
