Are you a dynamic engineering leader who can balance technical expertise and people management? Do you thrive in remote environments that demand strategic problem-solving, marine engineering knowledge, and the ability to navigate workplace dynamics?

The island-based Chief Engineer will oversee technical operations, engineering maintenance, and team management within the department, reporting directly to the GM with a dotted line to the Group Director.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Essential Experience: 5+ years in engineering leadership at medium to large resorts with multi-acre layouts and amenities like pools, golf courses, and multiple F&B outlets.
• Technical Skills: Expertise in HVAC, desalination, electrical, plumbing, BMS, fire safety, backup power systems and marine.
• Team Leadership: Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and ensure 24/7 operational and emergency coverage.
• Mindset: Quick, resourceful decision-maker with a can-do attitude and a keen eye for detail and innovation.
• Leadership from the front (hands-on)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills manging a diverse team
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field
