FLEET MANAGER

Our client, a leading luxury safari travel company, is seeking a proactive and analytical Fleet Manager to oversee a dynamic fleet of approximately130 vehicles across East Africa. This is a data-led role at the heart of operations, ideal for someone who thrives on systems thinking, strategic problem-solving, and driving impact through smart asset management.

You’ll be responsible for optimizing fleet performance using a dedicated Fleet Management System—ensuring vehicles are safe, compliant, cost-effective, and aligned with the company’s sustainability goals. From preventive maintenance and fuel efficiency to data accuracy and cross-team collaboration, your insights will shape how the fleet supports unforgettable guest experiences in the wild.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g. Business Administration, Accounting, Logistics, or Transportation Management).
• Proven experience in Fleet Management, Logistics, Technical Systems or a related field.
• Knowledge of vehicle maintenance, safety regulations, and fleet management software is preferred.
• Critical and analytical thinking.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Familiarity with environment and sustainability practices in fleet management is a plus.
• Knowledge of applicable laws and regulations related to fleet operations.
• High proficiency in using MS office suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Self-starter, proactive, persistent, analytical, strategic, and ambitious.
• Able to interpret data and communicate insights clearly.
• Strong systems orientation; good at identifying inefficiencies and improving processes.
