MAINTENANCE ASSOCIATE MANAGER / ASSISTANT MAINTENANCE DIRECTOR

Join a dynamic hospitality environment where your expertise will ensure the seamless operation of world-class resort facilities. Our client is searching for a Maintenance Associate Manager or an Assistant Maintenance Director for their luxury resort. You will lead and coordinate the daily activities of the maintenance team, driving efficiency and reliability across all systems.

Your focus will be on implementing robust preventive and corrective maintenance programs, managing resources effectively, and collaborating across departments to resolve technical challenges that could impact the guest experience. This is a pivotal role, requiring quick thinking and decisive action to guarantee uninterrupted operations and exceptional service standards.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or a related discipline or approved Higher Technician. 
• Certification in Hotel Maintenance Management is preferred. 
• Technical certifications in HVAC, electrical, and/or plumbing systems are valued.
• Minimum experience of 5 years in maintenance supervision or management roles in large hotels or resorts.
• Advanced knowledge in preventive and corrective maintenance systems.
• Experience in managing multidisciplinary maintenance teams.
• Familiarity with local and international safety and environmental regulations. 
• Experience in the planning and execution of expansion or remodelling projects.
• People Management, Economics and Communication Skills.
• Availability and geographical mobility. 
• Proficiency in English, both spoken and written.
• AutoCAD Intermediate level.
• Advanced skills in project management.
• Knowledge of automation and building management systems (BMS).
• Ability to work in a dynamic environment and under pressure.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
