DIRECTOR OF SALES

 

 

MALDIVES

(ISLAND-BASED, SINGLE ACCOMMODATION)

 

 

START DATE: ASAP

 

 

An exciting opportunity has opened up for a skilled and seasoned Director of Sales to join the Management team at a small, luxury private island resort in the Maldives. As the Director of Sales your primary responsibilities will involve advancing revenue growth through effective sales strategies tailored to the target markets.

  

 

REQUIREMENTS:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field required
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar position in a luxury resort is required.
  • A clear understanding and relevant experience in the “top-end” luxury tier of the 5-star resorts in the Maldives or similar.
  • Proven track record and with knowledge of working relationships with key operators in the luxury European market.
  • A strong knowledge of the European & Russian Markets is essential. Thereafter, a knowledge of China, Korea & Japan and the Middle East.
  • Previous experience working in the Maldives is preferable
  • Proven ability to drive sales revenue.
  • Should be able to travel for sales calls if necessary.
  • Must be available to work a flexible schedule to include evenings, weekends, and holidays as necessary.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent command of the English language, both written and verbal.
