Our client, a renowned luxury island resort in Fiji, is seeking an experienced Chief Steward to lead and elevate all stewarding operations across the property. This pivotal role ensures the highest standards of cleanliness, hygiene, organisation, and back‑of‑house efficiency that support exceptional culinary and service delivery throughout the resort.

As Chief Steward, you will oversee stewarding teams, manage inventory and equipment, uphold strict hygiene and sanitation protocols, and maintain seamless coordination with the culinary and F&B departments. You will champion a culture of discipline, safety, and teamwork while ensuring all stewarding operations run smoothly and consistently meet the resort’s luxury standards.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Minimum three years’ experience in stewarding operations within a hotel or resort environment.
• HACCP knowledge and experience would be highly advantageous.
• Proven track record of reliability and performance in stewarding leadership roles.
• Candidates should possess previous experience within a large hotel or resort operation
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
• Excellent references demonstrating professionalism, integrity, and team leadership.

• Ability to thrive in a remote island environment and contribute positively to a multicultural team.
