RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

  • Lead and motivate a skilled kitchen team, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
  • Coach, train, and support the career development of team members while upholding company values.
  • Organize and manage kitchen operations to ensure efficiency, consistency, and high-quality output.
  • Develop innovative menus and dishes, maintaining presentation standards and recipe documentation.
  • Monitor food quality, portioning, temperature, and visual appeal to ensure consistent excellence.
  • Ensure strict compliance with hygiene, safety, and grooming standards across the department.
  • Prepare forecasts and plans, and manage budgets effectively to meet financial goals.
  • Interact personally with guests to create memorable dining experiences and accommodate special requests.
  • Maintain accurate departmental records, including scheduling and leave planning.
  • Deliver timely performance feedback, conduct team briefings, and participate in interdepartmental meetings.
  • Support the team during busy periods and maintain a clean, safe, and well-equipped work environment.
  • Collaborate with stewarding and purchasing teams to ensure optimal hygiene and ingredient quality.
  • Perform pre- and post-service checks and assist in cost analysis and menu pricing.
  • Carry out additional duties as assigned to support overall operational success.

 

REQUIREMENTS:

 

  • 4–5 years of kitchen leadership experience in a luxury hotel or resort
  • Strong foundation in global cuisines and culinary techniques
  • Proven leadership skills with a growth mindset
  • Fluent in English with solid math and analytical abilities
  • Creative, business-savvy, and passionate about food and wine
