TRAVEL DESIGNER

Our client is seeking a Travel Designer to join their team of luxury travel specialists. If you're highly organized, an excellent communicator, and passionate about travel, this could be the perfect role for you.

You'll be responsible for curating bespoke travel experiences, catering to both inbound and outbound clients exploring South Africa, Southern Africa, East Africa, and the Indian Ocean Islands. With a strong commitment to delivering exceptional service, our client prides itself on creating unforgettable journeys for discerning travelers.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Source suitable travel options for clients
• Plan and book clients luxury travel itineraries
• Work with flights consultant if flights are required
• Negotiate rates with suppliers
• Continual client communication
• Oversee all details on clients travel and manage all aspects of their trip
• Coordinate and manage relationships with suppliers
• Offer concierge services for clients

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

• Industry experience in booking safaris and other Cape / African itineraries with high service / concierge levels.
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and business writing)
• Attention to detail
• Brilliant client service skills
• Advanced planning and fantastic organisation skills
• Tertiary education preferable
• 3-5 years work experience in travel or similar
